About Beck Barton

Hello everyone! My name is Beck. I’ve been playing piano for 20 years—a passion that started with a desire to play the demos of Vivaldi and Beethoven on our first keyboard, and further fueled by my obsession with video game music. While my initial formal training was brief in elementary school, it was that one-on-one time with my teacher that set me on the path to pursue music all the way through the completion of my B.A. in Music. 

I’ve been teaching piano since 2017 and I absolutely love what I do! Not only have I had the honor of helping students find their sound as musicians, I’ve also had the opportunity to be challenged as a musician through my students no matter the age. 

When I’m not teaching or obsessing over the newest piece I am learning, I can be found composing music or arranging music from my favorite video game OSTs.
