About Roxana O

Hi! My name is Roxana and I've been working at Music and Arts since 2017. I've always had a love for music at a very young age. Growing up I was always surrounded by music, whether it was my mom playing spanish music in the kitchen, my father blasting top 80's-90's hits in the car or going to music festivals. My first instrument was violin, like most kids I was in 5th grade strings and that's where I discovered my love and passion for music. I was very involved in my middle school and high school orchestras, I would always stay after school to practice and get extra help with my directors. I was taken under Mrs.Malecheks' wing and thanks to her she pushed me into becoming a better musician and supported me. She pushed me to audition in the top Chamber orchestra we had and I made it in! I would audition for all county, regional and also did solo and ensemble! I've had the opportunity to travel to different states to perform and compete with other orchestras around the nation. After high school I started to get into guitar and even purchased one here at the Manassas location! I love listening to music and I'm very open minded with listening to new genres. Some of my favorites are R&B, EDM, pop and of course classical music!
