Get to know Ursula Cohen
Ursula grew up in Western North Carolina and started playing music at age 9 with the violin. Later at age 11, they transitioned to clarinet to play in the North Buncombe Middle School band. After testing out other woodwinds, Ursula shifted gears and picked up the alto saxophone which they played all throughout high school marching, jazz, and symphonic band. After their grandfather passed away, Ursula inherited his tenor saxophone which they continue to play today in the local community marching band.
