Born in Galveston, Texas, Tory Sherrod is an amateur composer, podcaster, and tuba player of over 15 years now living in the Dallas area. In 2013, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of North Texas. While at UNT, Tory studied composition with world renowned composers Dr. Joelle Wallach and Dr. Panayiotis Kokoras. He also participates in local performing ensembles like the Carrollton Wind Symphony and the Coppell Community Orchestra. He has spent time on stage crew working with groups like UNT's Wind Symphony and Green Brigade Marching Band and with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra during their Concert in the Gardens series. Tory is an alum of the American Festival for the Arts summer conservatory and a member of the international music fraternity Mu Phi Epsilon.
