About Adam Quackenbush
Get to know Adam Quackenbush
I’ve played music for most of my life. During my childhood, I briefly took piano and organ lessons. I played trombone in Junior high and freshman and sophomore years of high school. I got my first guitar for Christmas 1978 (forty-five years ago - yikes!). I picked up the bass guitar around 2008 when the bass player at church moved away. Although I’ve never had a gig that paid money, I’ve been playing acoustic guitar, electric guitar, or bass guitar in church praise bands for over twenty years. I started playing the ukulele about twelve years ago. I also play a little bit of keys. My eclectic tastes in music are reflected in my repertoire and teaching style. I've taught music lessons privately on and off for about twenty years. I can help you develop strong fundamentals and lead you through exploring various music styles with some music theory sprinkled in for good measure!. Let’s get started!
