Performance Experience: Adrian has 20+ years experience playing bass and/or drums with an eclectic variety of local groups. Jazz, rock, classical, blues, country and more. He's done it all and knows each genre well.
Teaching Experience: Adrian has taught publicly and privately for 20+ years and has the skills to help you fulfill your musical dreams, no matter how big or small.
Teaching Philosophy: Every student is different, and walks their own musical path, and therefore needs a unique set of educational approaches to optimize the presentation of musical concepts while maximizing joy through music in the student, and helping every musician to find their best inner voice.
Get to know Adrian Ash
As a stalwart Atlanta musician, I play mostly (but not exclusively) drums or bass in several metro Atlanta bands (ranging from Jazz, to Blues, to Rock / Top 40, to Bluegrass, to tribute acts, etc.). I’m also a freelancer with many bands, solo artists, classical ensembles, musicals, churches, and recording projects in and around the Atlanta area. I also host a monthly series of open tribute jams, featuring some of the finest musicians and vocalists in the Atlanta area. I have also run sound at many of Atlanta's finest clubs, churches, and private events for over 20 years, including Eddie's Attic, Smith's Olde Bar, The Five Spot,Club Z, Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Moonshadow Tavern, etc.
