15+ years of teaching a thriving private lesson studio, as well as teaching in K-12 and at the college level.
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe music is accessible to anyone who is willing to learn. My lessons are interactive and engaging, connecting musical concepts to students’ interests and what first inspired them to love music. Whether you’re a beginner, a professional, or returning to music, I aim to create a supportive, goal-focused environment where we build musicianship and have fun along the way. I can’t wait to make music together!
Get to know Alejandro Espinosa
Originally from Argentina, trombonist Alejandro Espinosa is a versatile,
genre-defying artist who performs across jazz, classical, Latin, salsa,
pop, and contemporary styles. He leads his own salsa band and is the
founder of The Harlem Soundlab, a collaborative jazz project. Alejandro
has performed with artists such as Idina Menzel, Chris Potter, and
Michael Rodriguez, appearing at venues including Carnegie Hall,
Birdland, Lincoln Center, and Blue Note New York, where he performed
with the Wayne Shorter Ensemble. He is currently completing his
doctorate in music at Stony Brook University and holds a Master of Music
from NYU.
