About Alena Khimochka

I am originally from Ukraine and moved to the USA 1998 and have lived in Washington State since then. I am a para educator at a local middle school and specialize in working with those students with special needs. I studied music for many years before becoming a teacher and have been teaching piano for 14 years. My teaching style is structured lessons that use books as guides. I am also able to teach accompaniments to many songs. I enjoy teaching students of all ages from as young as 5 years old through adulthood.  

I believe that there are a lot of new things to learn every day and strive to continue learning.
