About Alex Tschetter
Get to know Alex Tschetter
Mr. Alex Tschetter is a music
educator and tubist from the west suburbs of Chicago. He earned his Bachelor of
Music Education degree at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, where he
had the honor of studying under legendary brass performers including Dan
Perantoni, Sergio Carolino, and Jeff Nelsen. While there, he participated in
the school's three Concert Bands, the Marching Hundred, as well as the
orchestra and chamber music programs. Alex has taught band to all grade levels
from fourth grade through high school. In addition, he has also taught high
school choir, as well as bands and choirs comprised mainly of adults. Alex has
several years of experience teaching one-on-one lessons to band students
ranging from beginners to high school graduates, and he is happy to be teaching
digitally through Music & Arts this summer.
