Mr. Alex Tschetter is a music educator and tubist from the west suburbs of Chicago. He earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, where he had the honor of studying under legendary brass performers including Dan Perantoni, Sergio Carolino, and Jeff Nelsen. While there, he participated in the school's three Concert Bands, the Marching Hundred, as well as the orchestra and chamber music programs. Alex has taught band to all grade levels from fourth grade through high school. In addition, he has also taught high school choir, as well as bands and choirs comprised mainly of adults. Alex has several years of experience teaching one-on-one lessons to band students ranging from beginners to high school graduates, and he is happy to be teaching digitally through Music & Arts this summer.
