Get to know Amy Davis
I have been a public school elementary music teacher for 20 years, and am excited to be teaching private lessons. I grew up in New England and moved to NC in the 1990s to study folklore. I have a strong interest and background in traditional folk music, stringband music and I also enjoy music of many styles. I have played piano off and on since I was seven. I appreciate both the power of reading musical notation and the freedom of playing by ear.
