About Andres

Andres Rosales is a drum set and percussion teacher who works with beginner to advanced students, creating lessons that balance technique, reading, ear training, and musical enjoyment. He teaches a wide variety of styles including rock, metal, jazz, country, and concert percussion while helping students develop strong fundamentals through rudiments, grooves, repertoire, and active listening skills. Andres tailors each lesson to the student’s goals, experience level, and commitment, fostering a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable exploring and growing as musicians. Whether preparing for school auditions, performances, or simply learning a new hobby, students are guided with patience, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm for music. Andres studied at Florida State University and North Carolina Central University and performs professionally throughout the Triangle area.
