Education: M.M. Jazz Composition, North Carolina Central University B.M. Jazz Studies- Double Bass Performance, North Carolina Central University

Performance Experience: Lifetime performer. Currently working out of Durham, NC as a freelance musician for performance and session recording work.

Teaching Experience: 7 Years experience private instruction. Graduate Assistant for music theory and aural skills, NCCU. GLOMUS International 2019.

Teaching Philosophy: I aim to develop well rounded musicians well versed in a variety of styles and capable of communicating effectively with other musicians. My students should expect to learn the necessary ingredients for growth as a musician and human, and how music connects us to ourselves and others. We work hard and have fun at the same time!
