      Get to know Angela Ayers

      Angela Ayers is a brass teacher who works with beginner to advanced students, creating structured, engaging lessons that balance technique, tone development, musicianship, and repertoire in a positive learning environment. She teaches aural skills, music theory, sight-reading, and fundamental brass technique while helping students become confident, versatile musicians. Angela personalizes each lesson to match the student’s learning style and goals, using consistent encouragement and measurable milestones to build confidence and lasting musical growth. Whether preparing for school band, auditions, recitals, performances, or simply enjoying music for life, students receive supportive guidance every step of the way. Angela holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Trumpet Performance from the University of Cape Town, a Master’s in Music Education from the University of North Texas, and was selected to perform with the Sydney Olympics Marching Band in 2000.
