I am a certified Compton-PESL accent modification/speech coach, certified ESL instructor, health coach and registered yoga instructor with over 500 hours of training.
Performance Experience: I have international performance and teaching experience in France as a faculty member of the Franco-American Vocal Academy. As part of the faculty, I performed in and trained young singers to perform solo recitals and was a voice teacher in their summer program in France. I was able to refine my teaching skills specifically in the pronunciation of French and general performance practice. I have also performed in Italy and at home in the USA.
Teaching Experience: I currently teach voice and piano online. I was the Director of Musical Theatre Arts at the Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts in Berkeley Heights, NJ from 2012-2016. I directed musical theatre productions and gave private and group music lessons. I was a voice instructor at Mason Gross School of the Arts Extension Division at Rutgers University. I have also taught basic music theory, piano and recorder with the focus on enhancing musicianship skills for singers.
Teaching Philosphy: I have a strong desire to help and inspire people. I am very interested in the connection between language, speech, voice and music in general!
