About Angelina Pacitti

Get to know Angelina Pacitti
My name is Angelina Pacitti and I have been teaching for 5 years. I grew up in a very musical household. My sisters and mom sing, and my dad plays guitar. Therefore, since a young age, I have had a deep appreciation for many styles of music. I grew up singing in church and have been on the Worship Team since I was thirteen years old. I have three older sisters and many nieces and nephews ranging in age from 6 months to 10 years old. I earned my bachelor’s degree in music at Georgia Southern University with a biology minor. My main instruments for teaching and performance are voice and cello. I have a passion for Vocal pathology and have plans to continue on to a Masters in Speech Pathology and ultimately a Doctorate in Vocal Therapy. I enjoy working within the special needs community and with children.
I believe in the power of music and in bringing up strong musicians who can express themselves through their art. Sometimes expressing ourselves through music can feel vulnerable so I work to build a safe and judgment free atmosphere for my students. I work to build confidence, empower my students to use their gifts in the community and push the limits of what they believe is possible. I have helped prepare students of many ages for auditions of all sorts. Many of my students have found success in their own path whether it be making it into All-State, achieving 1st chair, making the lead or a role they wanted etc. I truly believe that you will get out what you put in so if you are ready to work then we will find success. That said, I also believe that music is a fun and enjoyable experience. In lessons we will work to find a healthy balance.
