About Angelina Reed

Performance Experience: Angelina has toured the world as a soloist with the Andreyev Russian Folk Orchestra of St. Petersburg, Russia, performing with them at Carnegie Hall’s 100th anniversary. Angelina has done solo appearances around the US, most notably at Spivey Hall, and is the concertmaster and domra soloist of the Atlanta Balalaika Society Orchestra.

Teaching Experience: Angelina has toured the world as a soloist with the Andreyev Russian Folk Orchestra of St. Petersburg, Russia. A virtuoso of the three-string domra, she holds titles of Laureate of All Russia National Competition among professional domra players (Nizhny Novgorod, 1990) and Laureate of International Competition "Cup of the North” ( Cherepovets, 1992). Angelina was classical mandolin soloist with Chamber Orchestra of St. Petersburg, Russia as well.
