Education:
I am earning my BM in Music Performance with a concentration in Double Bass at Oberlin College and Conservatory. I have been playing the Guitar and Bass Guitar for more than a decade.
Performance Experience:
I have performed in several symphony orchestras, Jazz big bands, and chamber ensembles, including the Greater Buffalo Youth Orchestra, Southtowns Youth Orchestra, and Orchard Park Symphony Orchestra. I also have experience performing in a Rock band setting.
Teaching Experience:
In the past few years I have had the opportunity to teach Double Bass to a small studio of ages 7-13.
Teaching Philosophy:
My goal is always to help my students to find their musical voice, and encourage them to try difficult things on their instruments, even if they don't yet have the confidence.
