Education:
I received a Bachelor of Music in Performance in 2025 from the Boyer College of Music (Temple University) in Percussion, with a concentration in Piano. I received intensive training in percussion and piano performance, music theory, ear training, and ensemble performance. I also have a Certificate in Piano Pedagogy (2025) from the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), where I completed a pedagogically-based course of study in Elementary Piano Instruction.
Performance Experience:
I have been the Co-Founder and Music Director of Timeless Resonance Music in Philadelphia since 2024, where I am a solo pianist performing advanced classical repertoire (Liszt’s Beethoven Fifth Symphony reduction, Wagner, Bach) and original compositions. I also compose and arrange original works for chamber and cross-genre performance settings. I am an active performer in the Philadelphia music scene across several genres. I am a drummer for multiple rock, jazz and indie projects,
Teaching Experience:
I am a Music Educator in Philadelphia, where I manage an active private piano studio, tailoring instruction to individual goals using the RCM Celebration Series, Alfred’s Premier Piano Course and the classical, jazz and pop canon. I mentor students in modern music-making, including audience building and recording and digital engagement. I am authorized to prepare students for all RCM Certification Levels auditions. I adapt instruction across classical, rock, jazz, and experimental styles
Teaching Philosophy:
In my lessons, I structure progress for students who run the gamut of age and ability levels. My grounding in piano pedagogy gives me a state-of-the-art perspective on how to guide students so that they make quick, qualitative jumps in their playing technique and enjoyment, and have fun doing it. I have a rock-solid foundation for assessing specific aspects of student playing and offering a fine-grained analysis for where improvement needs to happen.
