About Anthony Polzella

Anthony is a guitarist, bassist, and music instructor with over 25 years of experience performing, writing, and recording with several New York based bands; ranging in genre. Anthony also holds a degree in Recording Arts from the Recording Engineers Institute in New York; giving him a strong background in both the performance and technical sides of music.

Anthony brings decades of real-world playing, recording, and live performance experience into his lessons, helping students develop strong fundamentals, practical guitar skills, and confidence as musicians. His teaching is tailored to each student’s experience level, musical interests, and individual goals—whether they are picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to take their playing to the next level.

He teaches both children and adults and believes learning guitar should go beyond simply practicing exercises. His goal is to help students understand their instrument, develop their own musical style, and experience the excitement of actually making music.
