About Anton Yaeger
Get to know Anton Yaeger
Born and raised in New York, Anton Yaeger started taking music lessons and classes in elementary school where he quickly fell in love with music and his first instrument: the cello. At a young age he began cello lessons with Manhattan School of Music teacher and NYC Ballet musician, Emirhan Tunca. Anton continued to play and study in and outside of school, even playing at Carnegie Hall while still in high school. Anton got his Bachelors of performance at The Hartt School of Music where he learned under Mihai Tetel, Terry King, and Blake Brasch. In college, Anton also played in orchestras and chamber ensembles in the New England area. At this point Anton has been engrossed in music for 17 years, along the way he has become a fan of many music genres beyond classical. He hopes and looks forwards to extending his musical growth unto others.
