      Get to know Audrey

Hi there... And welcome to my Music and Arts Profile Page!!

Let me introduce myself.... my name is Audrey Beharie-McGee, and I am a British singer, songwriter, and producer passionately devoted to uplifting and mentoring emerging talent in the UK. My mission is to help aspiring artists refine their singing and performance skills, enabling them to enhance their vocal abilities while staying true to their authentic, God-given essence.

With nearly four decades of experience in the music and entertainment industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my work. As a talented singer-songwriter, I was fortunate to be signed to Sir Peter Waterman’s renowned PWL Records, the label behind iconic artists like Rick Astley, Kylie Minogue, Bananarama, Jason Donovan, and Dead Or Alive. I later secured a major recording contract with Polydor Records, where I released my group's debut single, "Lock Me Out."

During this time, I worked as a Promotions Coordinator at MCA Records in London, collaborating closely with a diverse array of influential artists such as Nik Kershaw, Kim Wilde, Dead Or Alive, Belinda Carlisle, Bobby Womack, Lyle Lovett, The Damned, and The Jets, among others. My role involved organizing radio tours, managing playlist campaigns, and overseeing all aspects of radio promotions and marketing. I even had the unique opportunity to work in the private London offices of Sir Paul McCartney and the late Linda McCartney.

With the knowledge and experience I gained throughout my career, I eventually established my independent recording studio, Hourglass Studios, alongside my production company, B.R.E Productions, and label, Inner City Groove Records. Through these ventures, I have focused on developing and nurturing young talent in songwriting, production, and studio skills, aiming to foster a revival of quality songwriting.

Many of my students have gone on to achieve success in the industry as artists, songwriters, producers, and actors in respected performing arts schools and prestigious West End productions like “The Lion King,” “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” and “Annie Get Your Gun.”
"X-Factor UK" Numerous participants have signed major recording contracts and received scholarships to top performing arts academies, making their mark in TV and theater.

After immigrating to Georgia, USA, in 2009, I relaunched my vocal performance company, Vocal Zones USA, and founded B.R.E Poductions International, Inc. in December 2013. This organization brings together an incredible array of music, talent, performing arts, pageantry, fashion, and design, creating uplifting, family-oriented events.

I emphasize the importance of personal growth and skill enhancement rooted in strong moral values. My mission is to create a sense of pride, achievement, and belonging in each young individual I mentor. "It’s about enabling each person to realize their potential.

My performing arts sessions are purposely priced to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn the 'tricks of the trade' and become the best they can be!"
"I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the lives of talented individuals, helping them cultivate a sense of control and discipline that enhances their confidence in navigating the world of singing and the performing arts. This journey not only nurtures their artistic abilities but also serves as a valuable tool for personal development."

I know that confidence, integrity, and fulfilment are the cornerstones of my work as a vocal and performing arts coach and role play and performing arts play a significant role in fostering self-expression, self-assuredness, and pride among participants.

I take a principled approach to running my projects, determined to maintain my vision without compromise.
"I’m not willing to sacrifice my integrity or the direction of Vocal Zones. I believe in faith, and I know that God helps me accomplish what needs to be done."

My devotion to music is unwavering.
"I’ve had a passion for music, singing, and dancing since I was about six years old—prancing around my bedroom with a hairbrush in hand and tapping out drum patterns on the dining room table! I truly believe I was born to do this. It’s my purpose, and there’s nothing better than doing something you love and sharing that joy with others. What a blessing!"

That said, I always remind my students to have a backup plan.
"If you have talent, it never disappears; but with education and faith, you’ll gain the mental edge and spiritual discernment to recognize potential pitfalls."

      My advice is simple:
"Stay persistent and determined. Visualize your goals and commit to them. Be practical in pursuing your dreams, but remain focused and disciplined. There are no shortcuts—every seemingly easy path comes with its own consequences."

Singing and performing are truly my life and passion and I am deeply committed to fostering a nurturing and encouraging environment where young talent can flourish. Through my journey in music and the performing arts, I have witnessed the transformative power of creativity. It inspires me every day to cultivate an atmosphere that empowers individuals to discover their voices, build their confidence, and pursue their dreams with passion and tenacity.

I am grateful for the opportunity to mentor the next generation of artists. Together, we embark on a journey of growth, self-expression, and artistry, celebrating every achievement along the way. As I continue to develop and expand my initiatives, I remain dedicated to helping others unlock their potential, transforming their aspirations into reality.

I truly believe that every person has a story to tell and a talent waiting to be discovered. My mission is to ensure that those stories are heard and those talents shine brightly. Here’s to nurturing the stars of tomorrow and creating a legacy of artistry, creativity, and inspiration!
