      August Vesilind studied voice and piano at University of Miami, where he received his bachelor's in music education. August has performed as a professional classical baritone, bass, and tenor for a variety of ensembles, including Ocean Reef Chapel, All Without Words, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and St. Augustine Church.  

      August's ensemble and honors experiences include the Seraphic Fire Scholars, Washington National Opera Institute, Virginia All State Chorus (Bass I and II), District Chorus (Bass I), Southeast Regional Chorus, and the Estonian National Song Festival (Tenor). He is also a member of Tri-M National Music Honor Society. 

      In his time at University of Miami, August studied voice with Kim Josephson, and at NM Productions with Laurie Nelson. 

      August instructs students on all levels of piano and voice. While his personal performance is primarily in opera, classical, and religious music, he also teaches voice for musical theater, rock, jazz, and pop styles.
