About Aysima Anik
Get to know Aysima Anik
Aysima was born and raised in Turkey. She started playing the violin in 2009 at Mersin University State Conservatory. In 2011, she got into the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Istanbul State Conservatory. In 2017 she was chosen as the concertmaster of MSFAU Youth Orchestra. In the span of her education she performed with many orchestras and ensembles such as Alg Quartet, MSFAU Symphony Orchestra, Dogus Children's Symphony Orchestra and Turkish National Youth Philharmonie Orchestra.
She was chosen to participate in Turkish National Youth Philharmonie Orchestra in 2020 and took part in the orchestra's concert tours in 2021 and 2022. The orchestra performed in significant concert halls located in Berlin, Dresden and Prag. She was also chosen as the Assistant Principal Violin for the orchestra's 2023 concert series in Turkey and Italy.
During her education she performed as a soloist, as a member of a chamber music group and as an orchestra member. She has worked with lots of musicians, violin experts and professional violin players in masterclasses she attended which were organized by AIMA, CRR, Munich Philharmonie Chamber Octet and many more. She’s now continuing her violin education as a 4th year undergraduate student at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Istanbul State Conservatory.
She has been working as a violin, music theory and beginners piano teacher since 2019. She is currently living in Orlando, Florida.
