Mr. Portnoy is a graduate of Rowan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Instumental music and teaching. He was the the lead reed player for Harrah's Marina Orchestra for two decades. He has studied with some of the most prominent teachers in the Philadelphia-
New York Area.
Barry has been an instrumental teacher for 37 years and has experience teaching students from the elementary to college level.
At the present he has students performing in the Philadelphia youth Orchestra.
