Teaching with Music & Arts for 2 years. Teaching privately for many more.
Teaching Philosophy:
Regular practice and technical studies are essential for trumpet players of all ages. Scales and long tones are just as (if not more) important than repertoire, especially for beginning musicians.

Ben Classon has been playing trumpet professionally for nearly twenty years. Career highlights include performing on tour for five years with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus band, three tours with the Broadway show “Blast!”, several tours with an array of other Broadway productions, the famed Glenn Miller Orchestra, Walt Disney World, BB King’s Blues Club, as well as various cruise ships. He is currently in frequent demand as a freelance trumpeter and educator in Nashville, TN.
