      Performance Experience: Ben has performed internationally with the UDSO. They've also performed as a member of the Marinho String Quartet, and with the Harrington Theatre Arts Company.
      Teaching Experience: Ben has taught cello since 2018, and has tutored music theory since 2022.
      Teaching Philosophy: My goal as a teacher is to help students develop a passion for music and for the cello. I work with students to identify their musical interests and incorporate them into lesson plans. I also challenge students to expand their horizons and explore new, different genres of music.

      Ben Holcomb is a classically trained cellist originally from Kansas City now living in Baltimore. Ben received a Bachelor's in cello performance from the University of Delaware where they studied with cellist Lawrence Stomberg and worked with the internationally performing Calidore String Quartet. Ben has performed with symphonies across the US as well as in Ireland, Germany, Austria, and Greece. They also have extensive experience with chamber music, solo performance, and musical theater.
