About Ben O'Hare

Ben O’Hare is a guitar, bass, and piano teacher who works with beginner to advanced students, creating lessons that balance strong technique with creativity and fun. He teaches a wide variety of musical styles while incorporating classical and jazz guitar, improvisation, fretboard harmony, music theory, ear training, composition, songwriting, and lyric writing into personalized lessons tailored to each student’s interests and goals. Ben’s teaching philosophy centers on helping students discover their creativity and develop confidence through meaningful musical expression. Whether preparing for recitals, auditions, school programs, or simply playing for enjoyment, students are guided toward steady growth in a supportive and inspiring environment. Ben graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Professional Music and has over 10 years of teaching experience.
