Get to know Berry McWhorter
Born in Lubbock, TX, Berry has been teaching music in schools since 2017. Prior to becoming a music teacher, Mr. McWhorter completed his bachelors degree in music education from the University of Georgia in 2015 and a masters degree in Music and Human Learning from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017. Mr. McWhorter is a veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving as a percussionist with the Parris Island Marine Band from 2006-2009. He is married to his wife, Erin, since 2011 and they have one son, Conley.
