About Bill Kirkner

Bill Kirkner is a guitar, piano, bass, and voice teacher who creates comfortable, supportive lessons tailored to each student’s pace and goals. As a certified Pennsylvania K–12 music teacher, he combines strong technique development with requested songs, assigned repertoire, and fresh material each lesson to keep students engaged and progressing. Bill teaches a wide range of styles including jazz, rock, country, and fusion while incorporating music theory and performance skills into his instruction. Whether students are preparing for recitals, open mic performances, special events, or simply playing for enjoyment, Bill focuses on helping them grow with confidence in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Bill brings over 55 years of playing experience, 40 years of private teaching, and 10 years of teaching music to special needs students through the Devereux Foundation.
