Performance Experience: International concert tours for military units throughout Central America and Greenland, Toured with Pop star Shannon, Funk artist Kleeer. Several US tours on Hotel/Resort Circuit. Worked as a one man band and Bob Ross Trio.
Teaching Experience: 20 plus years teaching experience, including the John Mehegan Materials. 2 former students who have gone on to professional music careers.
Teaching Philosophy: Strives for students to grow as piano players/musicians. Successful learning experience and on top having fun at the same time.
Get to know Bob Ross
Bob has been teaching for Music & Arts since May of 2021 teaching both classical piano and jazz piano (adults). He has 40 years professional experience as a pianist and musical director. He has considerable experience in Jazz piano playing and composition. He is skilled in teaching students ranging in age from 8 years to adult and beginner to advanced. He has successfully prepared students for college auditions and recitals. Studied with Bob Durso (Golandsky Institute technique). Jazz/composition with Jack Reilly. Classical interpretation with Marvin Blickenstaff.
