      Get to know Brian Bosarge

      Brian Bosarge obtained a Bachelor of Music Education (Classical Guitar) degree from the University of Southern Mississippi where he studied with Giovanni DeChiaro and Gilberto Soto. He also had additional training in Classical Guitar with Patrick Kerber at Southeastern Louisiana University. Having also studied Jazz Guitar with Jack Edwards, he has played in a jazz band (Sea Breeze) that played across the Gulf Coast from Pensacola to New Orleans. In addition, he has also studied Composition at Southeastern Louisiana University with Dr. Steven Suber as well as Mississippi College with Dr. James Slaughter. He has composed and arranged music in different genres throughout his career. Brian has been playing guitar for about 40 years and teaching for about 30 years. He also has 20 years experience as a Music Educator having taught Pre-K through 12 in the areas of Classroom Music, Band, Choir, Strings, and Fine Arts Survey. In addition, Brian is also a church musician and has held several positions in local churches in all areas of ministry, having had ministerial training at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Bob Jones University. He also led and wrote the music for a Christian Rock band (Centurion’s Faith) for about 3 years.
