Get to know Brian Horvath
Brian Horvath is a guitar, piano, violin, and bass teacher who creates structured yet flexible lessons tailored to each student’s goals and interests. He teaches beginner to advanced guitar as well as beginner to intermediate piano, violin, and bass, blending warm-ups, method books, and student-selected songs to keep lessons engaging and rewarding. Brian incorporates styles including rock, jazz, blues, country, folk, and classical music, while also exploring improvisation, songwriting, music theory, music history, and listening skills based on student interest. Students are encouraged to grow confidently through performance opportunities and steady progress. Brian studied Jazz Performance at Temple University and Music Education at Kutztown University and has over 26 years of teaching experience in both public and private schools.
