About Brittany Cusack
Get to know Brittany Cusack
Brittany Cusack is a versatile vocalist currently based in
Philadelphia. Coming from Irish heritage, she graduated from Shenandoah
Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and a minor
in Piano, and from Brooklyn College-Conservatory of Music with a master’s degree
in Opera. Brittany has performed numerous operatic soprano roles in and around
New York with companies such as the New York Lyric Opera and the Opera Company
of Brooklyn. She was a Semi-Finalist in the New York Lyric Opera Theatre Vocal
Competition and a Preliminary Winner in the Classical Singer Competition. Recently,
Brittany was featured as Lady Macbeth in the International Electroacoustic
Festival’s production Electrified Lady Macbeth and is an active performer in
New York’s jazz club scene.
Equally at home in the classroom as on the stage, Brittany has
been teaching piano and vocal lessons for a decade. She taught with Music &
Arts in Ellicott City, MD from 2017 to 2020 and maintains a private, virtual studio
of piano and vocal students. As the newest member of the teaching team at the
Ardmore Music & Arts, Brittany looks forward to welcoming you into her
studio!
