About Brooke Steele

Brooke has been playing violin for fifteen years and has nine years of teaching experience. Her curriculum combines classic violin repertoire with fun activities such as music theory games, videos, props, and other resources that help benefit visual learners. 


Growing up, Brooke played with the Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra for two years and the the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association for three years. She has studied with various professors from around the Puget Sound. Brooke graduated from the University of Washington where she played in the symphony orchestra. She has also had experience working with members of the Seattle Symphony while studying Russian repertoire. Since graduating Brooke has gained experience teaching elementary and high school orchestra along with one-on-one lessons.
