Performance Experience: Cailin has worked as a freelance performer since 2019 for fundraisers, weddings, and other events. She has also performed with the Appalachian Symphony Orchestra in addition to many chamber ensembles.
Teaching Experience: Cailin has taught middle school orchestra in Durham since 2022 and has taught privately since 2019.
Teaching Philosophy: As a teacher, Cailin strives to instill a lifelong love and appreciation for music in all of her students. Her main focuses consist of developing correct technique, allowing musicality to blossom, and fostering creativity.

Cailin Clarke is a cellist and orchestra director currently living in Durham, NC. She received her Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education and Certificate in Cello Performance from Appalachian State University. When she isn't playing or teaching, she enjoys spending time outside, seeing live music, and reading.
