About Cal Van Etten

Cal Van Etten is a guitar and bass teacher who creates relaxed, personalized lessons designed around each student’s individual goals and musical interests. He begins by evaluating each student’s experience level and building a custom learning path that develops naturally from week to week in a supportive, no-pressure environment. Cal teaches all styles of music while incorporating reading, scales, music theory, and technique as students progress and their interests evolve. Whether students want to perform for others or simply enjoy music as a personal creative outlet, lessons are tailored to support their unique musical journey. Cal earned a Certificate in Guitar Performance from Musicians Institute and holds a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University.
