Performance Experience: Candi has sang lead for Dallas/Fort Worth bands like: Never the Same Band, (See Video on Youtube-Never the Same Band Amazing Grace, My God is Real) Diva and the Axe Man, Soul Mates, Soul Candy, The Soul Binders, The Committee and Freetime. Candi also has been a Karaoke and Music D.J., recorded radio jingles, and was interviewed by UTA Radio with The Soul Binders and JoCo Internet Radio with Never the Same Band.

Teaching Philosophy: Students will learn vocal techniques such as breathing, volume control and vibrato,
increase vocal range, projection, flexibility and master their vocal break.
Students will develop vocal articulation and learn to use different resonating spaces.

Get to know Candace Long
Candi Long has taught voice lesson since 2002. Some of her students have gone on to
perform in local theaters, become recording artist, been cast on the Disney Channel, NBC
and auditioned for American Idol!
Candi has sung professionally, since she was 16 years old. Her vocal backgrounds consist
of all types of music: Pop, Rock, Gospel, Blues, Country, and Jazz. Candi received
private vocal instruction from Phyllis Noble of the Omaha Community Playhouse and
Thomas Cornelius of Opera Omaha.
Her favorite singers are Lady Gaga, Aretha Franklin, Joss Stone and Kelly Clarkson.
