Teaching Philosophy: Every student is unique and has different genres of music that they are interested in. When teaching, I try to incorporate different styles of music and methods of playing so the student can find out what is best suited for them and what they are comfortable with, while at the same time, challenging and inspiring them to try different genres of music and introducing them to new and unique ways of playing.

I was born in Charleston, South Carolina and have lived in various parts of the state. I graduated from North Greenville University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Piano Performance, learning under esteemed teachers such as Mr. Fabio Parrini and Dr. Lilia Stoytcheva. I have performed solo as well as accompanied many small ensembles, including at North Greenville where I also performed with the university's Orchestra, Jazz Band, and Musical Theatre Department, and have been teaching privately in the Charleston area for over 8 years.
