About Charles Hanson

Charlie Hanson has been playing professionally for over 40 years and teaching with Music & Arts for over 20 years. Charles is experienced with teaching guitarists of all ages and levels of playing. Teaching and performing has been his passion for his entire career, and he hopes to pass on his love for music to anyone that wants to sit down for a lesson.

He studied guitar privately with Walter Spalding for classical guitar in Flagstaff, AZ; Tom Yoder and Craig Hilton for rock guitar in Cary NC; Howard Morgen for jazz guitar in Chapel Hill, NC; and Chuck Anderson for advanced jazz guitar in Conshohocken, PA. Charlie is available for all levels of electric, acoustic, classical, and bass guitar, and teaches beginner-level ukulele, mandolin, and banjo.
