      Get to know Cheryl Blumenthal

      I have been playing violin for about 45 years and viola for about 24 years.  I have been teaching both instruments since 1997 and I enjoy it a lot.  I teach both Suzuki and traditional methods.  The students of mine that have gone to NYSSMA have gotten outstanding and excellent scores.  If they get below an excellent, they have to do that level again.  My daughter has been doing NYSSMA since 3rd grade and has gotten both excellent and outstanding scores on her violin and viola solos.
