Cheryl Campagne teaches three styles of guitar including acoustic, electric and classical guitar. She studied guitar at the Nutmeg Music Conservatory with George Hadjimarkou from CYPRUS and the Hartt School Community Division. She has attended master classes with many famous composers including Robert Lee Castleman songwriter for Alison Krauss, Alan Jackson and Chet Atkins, blues musician Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Emmy nominated film composer David Hamburger, Internationally reowned acoustic guitarist Giuseppe "Peppino" D'Agostino from Messina Italy, former manager for Taylor Swift, Rick Barker, the late Frederick Kewley manager for Harry Chapin and Chet Atkins, Chris Stapleton, Disney supervisors and many other artists. Cheryl is a member of ASCAP,AAP, BCC, FAI, NABA, and SGA. She was nominated for The Litchfield Hills Creative Arts Award, 2019 Pulitzer Prize entrant for original song "Yellow Wings" 2019 Stars of the Town Award for exceptional Business and community leader. Cheryl has been teaching guitar for over twelve years and is also an independent songwriter. She composes contemporary folk songs and Christian music inspired by nature and time spent in Northern Maine. Known as Cheryl Jeanette, she was influenced by Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Dan Folgelberg and Alison Krauss. Her original works include EP "Spirit of the Seasons" an acoustic expression of a natural transformation capturing the four seasons, "Yellow Wings" from memories with E.B. White in Maine with time spent on his island years ago. Song "Yellow Wings" has been arranged full orchestra for a Movie soundtrack. Original song "Flowers Bloom in May" was dedicated to The Cathedrale Notre Dame de Paris, song "Pollinate" composed in the Hundred Acre Wood home to Winnie the Pooh benefits forest conservation, Original song "Finish Line" dedicated to American Thoroughbred racehorse named Barbaro in 2006 winner of the Kentucky Derby.
