About Chris Devall

Douglas C Devall has been studying, performing, and teaching guitar for more than 30 years, specializing in classical guitar. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance and a Master's Degree in Music, both from Southeastern Louisiana University. During his studies he performed in masterclasses with some of the best and most prominent classical guitarists in the world, including Pepe Romero, Scott Tennant, and Ben Verdery. He is a composer, arranger, lecturer, and pedagogue, having composed studies and technical exercises that expanded foundational classical guitar technical literature.
