Teaching Philosophy: One size does not fit all when it comes to learning about and performing music. It's important to me that I connect with my students in a way that helps me understand how they learn, what their interests are, and what motivates them. Music is fun, and learning it should be fun too! I believe in creating a fun, relaxed environment for learning as I guide my students towards a love of listening to and performing music of all kinds at all levels.
Get to know Chris
Chris has over 25 years of experience playing Professionally and teaching music. She has been a private instructor, jazz festival clinician, and University professor. She has performed with Jazz greats, and toured around the US and the world with multiple professional ensembles. Chris is excited to get back to teaching since her move to Colorado from the East coast.
