About Chris Zablan

Chris studied at Naugatuck Valley Community College (Now, Connecticut Community College) where he received an Associates Degree in Music Studies, was part of their traveling summer musical theatre group, and President of Music Society Club. Chris is currently enrolled at Southern Connecticut State University where he is pursuing a Bachelors Degree with a Major in Music Therapy, Minor in Psychology, and Minor in Electronic Music & Media. He has completed his practicum with autistic clients and is currently completing his practicum with dementia clients. Chris's key attributes include expert level proficiency in piano, guitar and music theory. He has experience teaching students at all levels and ages and can provide tailored lessons that adapt to different learning styles and goals. He also has extensive experience working with neuro-divergent students. His priority is to create a learning environment that is flexible and supportive to the students needs. Personal Note: Learning music is a deeply personal journey, and my goal is to make it one that feels inspiring, comfortable, and rewarding for you. Whether you’re new or experienced with piano, guitar, or music in general, I create a space where you can explore your creativity, build confidence, and grow as a musician at your own pace. I believe that music is about more than just playing notes, it’s about connecting, discovering new perspectives, and finding joy in the process.
