Get to know Christine Mitchell
Christine's passion for music began at an early age, having played in various music groups since junior high school. Starting with the clarinet, she quickly developed a love for music that would take her through a range of instruments and experiences.
Over the years, Christine explored different musical voices, transitioning from the clarinet to the tenor saxophone, trumpet and trombone, gaining a rich understanding of the brass and woodwind sections. But it was the French horn that ultimately captured her heart. The beautiful, rich sound of the horn resonated deeply, and she found a true passion for playing it.

These experiences allowed her to refine her skills, collaborate with other musicians, and perform for appreciative audiences.
Music has always been more than a hobby for Christine; it's been a lifelong passion that continues to bring joy and fulfillment. Whether performing in concert bands or playing in smaller groups, the joy of creating music with others remains at the heart of her musical journey.
