      Get to know Christopher Angeletti

Christopher Angeletti is a drummer with over 35 years of playing experience and over 25 years of teaching experience. Originally from Connecticut, he has played and toured in numerous bands, starting at the age of 14. He has been nominated for the "Best Drummer" in the Hartford Advocate five times and won "Best Fusion Band" four years in a row.
Originally self taught, he quickly became the go-to drummer in schools bands and local bands. Christopher later on refined his teaching skills studying with Tony Leone of the Hartt School, as well as legendary drummers Joe Morello, Mike Clark, and Bernard Purdie.
Now in Savannah, Christopher is as busy as ever playing up and down the east coast with bands such as Star Period Star, Mauve Loyd, Sweaty Teddy, GNO, Magnetar, The Courtney Gains Group, Hippodrones, and many others, as well as being the go-to drummer for Dueling Pianos.
His teaching focuses on technique, body mechanics, reading, and creativity. He is versed in most styles and can teach all levels. His specialty is odd times, polyrhythms, dynamics, and versatility.
