About Chris

A violinist of 16 years, Christopher Taylor is a lover of all music and topics associated with the violin.  Chris has a special interest in classical music, but also immensely enjoys playing Irish and Country styled fiddling.  A native of Hampton Roads, he studied the violin privately as well as attended the Governor's School for the Arts throughout high school.  Desiring to further pursue the instrument, Chris received a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance from East Carolina University, where he frequently played in orchestra, chamber, solo recitals, studied the viola, as well as received his Suzuki Registered Training.  Just recently moved back to the area, Chris above all else wants to share his knowledge and passion of music through teaching and performing.
