Chuck Hanning is a guitar teacher who works with beginner to intermediate students, helping them build strong technique while learning the music they love. His lessons balance technical development, music reading, theory, and hands-on song learning, with a focus on popular styles including rock, country, jazz, alternative, reggae, punk, grunge, and singer-songwriter music. Chuck creates personalized lesson plans with clear goals and steady milestones, encouraging students to grow at a pace that fits their lives and interests. He believes music is a long-term journey and helps students build confidence through consistent progress and collaborative music-making. Chuck holds a B.A. in Music from the University of Rochester and studied extensively through the Eastman School of Music.
