About Chuck Herber
Chuck Herber
Music Teacher, Master
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Speaks: English
Instructs: Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone
Education: Graduate school at Texas A&M- Commerce Where I earned a Masters in Music in 2012. I was a Graduate Assistant teaching a Woodwind Methods class and all the freshman in the Saxophone Studio
Performance Experience: I have performed in Jazz Bands, Country Bands, Blues Bands, and Rock and Roll Bands. I was Principal Saxophone when the A&M -Commerce Wind Ensemble performed at Carnegie Hall
Teaching Experience: I have a lifetime certification to teach Secondary Music in Texas. I have taught many kids throughout the years that have done well in the Texas All-State Audition process with more than a few earning chairs in the bands. Bands under my direction have earned Sweepstakes, Best in Class, and have been named In the Texas Small School Band Association’s Outstanding Performance Series
Teaching Philosophy: My philosophy is that anyone can learn music. To what degree and level is strictly determined by the person learning. I think that most musicians would agree with me that many of them have a talent for music, but that did not get them to where they are. What got them to where they are is them working their craft.
