      Performance Experience: Chuck currently plays with the Westerville Symphony Orchestra. He has also been a member of the OtterCap Orchestra, Interlude Trio, and Conductor of the Jubilante Ensembles of Carbon County. He also plays in his church handbell choir, and performs regularly at local venues for special occasions and recitals.
      Teaching Experience: Chuck has been teaching music to children, adolescents, and adults for over 20 years in both individual private lessons and in group settings. His unique approach to teaching is based on meeting the student where they are, and helping them reach their personal musical goals through measurable goals and accountability.
      Teaching Philosophy: My teaching philosophy centers on personalized learning, fostering a love for music, and building a strong foundation. Tailoring my approach to each student's unique needs, I aim to instill a lifelong appreciation for music. Through a holistic approach that integrates technique, theory, and exploration of diverse musical styles, I guide students on a transformative journey toward becoming confident, well-rounded musicians.

      Introducing Chuck Junkin, a dedicated and passionate music teacher based in Westerville, Ohio. With over 40 years of experience playing stringed instruments, Chuck is a seasoned musician who specializes in teaching the violin, viola, cello, and music theory.


      Chuck's journey in music education spans two decades, during which he has had the privilege of instructing both children and adults. His approach to teaching is deeply rooted in his extensive knowledge of Early Music and Music History, enriching the learning experience for his students with a historical perspective.


      Beyond his musical expertise, Chuck brings a unique perspective to his teaching as a mental health counselor. Drawing on his skills in counseling, he tailors lesson plans to meet the individual needs of each student, fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment.


      Chuck resides in Westerville with his husband, accompanied by a furry family of one dog and four cats. His commitment to both music education and mental health counseling reflects a holistic approach to nurturing the talents and well-being of his students.
